The Digimon adventure Digimon Story Time Stranger will be released for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in July 2026!
Digimon Story Time Stranger was released last year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, where it has already sold over a million copies. Now, publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Media Vision Inc. have announced a release date for Nintendo handhelds. The game is set to launch for Switch and Switch 2 on July 10, 2026, and pre-orders are already available.
Pre-orderers can choose between three different editions. First, as always, there is the Standard Edition, which offers no advantages other than the pre-order bonus. The bonus consists of a uniform, an adventurer item set, and black variants of Agumon and Gabumon. The Digital Deluxe Edition also includes the “Cyber Sleuth” costume set and the Season Pass. In addition to the aforementioned content, the Digital Ultimate Edition offers a costume pack with three costumes per character and three additional side missions. In addition, a special Agumon and Gabumon will be unlocked early, whose Digitation paths to specific Digimon are already unlocked. The “Public Safety Suit Costume Set,” the “Special Supply Set,” and a “Cyber Sleuth” background music pack are also included.
The Season Pass for Nintendo consoles includes three DLC packs for the game, each containing five additional Digimon and another story episode. Season Pass owners will also receive the “Golden Moei” farm item, which can be used to redesign the Digifarm.
