The latest trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 confirms that the popular archenemy Slaanesh will be making an appearance!
The retro first-person shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 will be released later this year. Accordingly, new information about the game will be released throughout the year, and this trailer is no exception. The new trailer from developer Auroch Digital and publisher Big Fan Games showcases a beloved archenemy of the franchise who will be present in the title: Slaanesh. The trailer gives us a first look at Slaanesh’s Daemons and Death Guard, whom we will encounter on our mission.
Boltgun 2 picks up directly after the events of the first game and plunges players once again into a dark single-player campaign in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Visually, both Boltgun installments strongly resemble first-person shooters from the 90s. When hunting heretics and traitors, we can choose either Sister Nyra Veyrath or Ultramarine Malum Caedo, leaving nothing but bloody, pixelated remains in our wake. Both characters have their own unique weapons, abilities, and playstyles.
Our enemies will include not only Slaanesh, but also ruthless Nurglings and Chaos Cultists already familiar from the universe. Among them are brand-new foes, such as the savage Bloodletters and their bloodthirsty Juggernauts. But this is just the beginning, as we will encounter far greater horrors in the Emperor’s endless war. A release date for Boltgun 2 has not yet been announced.
